How can I help you improve your health?

I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing- incorporating your mind and body to build a sustainable lifestyle tailor made for you. I want to help you overcome your obstacles to exercise whether that be injury/health issues, time constraints, lack of knowledge/motivation or getting back to it after having ababy. I've always enjoyed an active lifestyle and use this experience to creat for you a personalised, varied training regime that will push you towards your goals and have a little fun along the way. Your body is an amazing tool and it's my job to show you how to get the best out of it.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have been a Personal Trainer for four years and have always been physically active since a young age, participating in sports such as Rugby, Football and Athletics. I have gained lots of experience working in various gyms and with a variety of clients with different goals. I have also gained experience and knowledge in sports that I have participated in supplying me with different styles of training techniques. I had an amazing opportunity playing rugby in Australia for a season, alongside international players from countries such as Japan and Austria.  I love to use my experiences and knowledge to help people achieve their fitness goals and improve their quality of life. If you need any help or advice on training please don't be afraid to come have a chat. I am more than willing to help.

Andy has been a Personal Trainer at Cwmbran for nine years, where he has gained a lot of experience with working with clients who have a variety of goals. Andy has expertise in different aspects of training, such as weight lifting, power lifting, functional training and training for half and full marathons.

How can I help you improve your health?

Through most of my teens I was severely overweight, and did no form of exercise.  It took years of trying various exercise classes to finally find my passion - weight lifting.  I have since lost over 20kg and completely changed my body shape.  This love of weight training motivated me to become a PT, so that I can educate others and help them find a form of training that suits them.

How can I help you improve your health?

A sport and coaching background has developed me to help understand just what it takes to achieve a variety of different goals by adapting training to a persons individual needs!  I have always been a keen believer of practicing what I preach and have applied what I have learnt into my training methods, including weight loss training, training for sports such as American Football and more recently endurance training for Triathlon events including Ironman!  I firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their previous experience, is capable of doing great things!  My passion for health and fitness is fuelled by a love for sports and helping others reach their true potential.

I am a BSc Sports and Exercise Science Graduate who competes in Olympic Weightlifting. I am a qualified British Weightlifting Coach with a background of both team and individual Sports.  I started my Career through CrossFit, introducing myself into Olympic Weightlifting. This enabled me to gain many different skills to better my personal training variety and knowledge.
I have worked with a variety of Clients from Strength to Weight/fat loss and Weightlifting to Mental Health. Through my skills and experiences I want to help others achieve and benefit physically/mentally. Had trouble achieving a goal?  Do you have a short/long term goal? How can I help you improve your health?

I am passionate about supporting people though their health journeys and helping them achieve their goals.  People describe me an enthusiastic about life and very energetic, and I use these traits to support those under my care.  I have completed my level 3 PT Diploma, a BSc in Coaching Science and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning.  My training style will vary person to person trying to accept trying to adapt to your needs but my philosophy is always the same... "if it isn't fun or interesting, motivation will fail and so will the goal".  I will always look to challenge, motivate and make the sessions enjoyable meaning your goals will be achieved!  My hobbies include playing basketball for Cardiff met Archers, Playing Rugby for Rogerstone RFC and spending time outdoors with my wife and daughter.
