About
Mr Santhanam is a highly experienced Consultant Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgeon, dually qualified in Medicine and Dentistry. He is the Surgical Director for ENT, Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals.
He specialises in the full range of oral and maxillofacial Surgery with specific focus on facial trauma, facial deformity surgery (orthognathic surgery including treatment for sleep apnoea), jaw joint surgery, salivary gland surgery, dental implants, facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures and skin cancer surgery.
A pioneer in 3D and virtual surgical planning, Mr Santhanam uses advanced technology to achieve precise, natural-looking results. Patients value his attention to detail, clinical excellence, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes – both functionally and aesthetically.
