Mr Sam Vollans

About

Sam Vollans is a subspecialist shoulder and elbow surgeon. After finishing his orthopaedic training in Yorkshire, he undertook further training in shoulder and elbow surgery, both within the UK and Europe – this time included working alongside three world-leading elbow surgeons.

His practice is exclusively upper limb and he has a specific interest in complex elbow surgery, including children’s and adolescent elbow complaints related to sports.

 

Mr Vollans established the Yorkshire Elbow Network and receives referrals for complex cases from all over Yorkshire and beyond.

He has worked with various elite gymnasts and racquet sports players treating elbow and shoulder problems in both adults and children.
