Please note that Mr Slater does not perform spinal surgery. He specialises in non-surgical treatment for spinal problems and provides medico-legal advice. If you need surgery, he will refer you to a suitable spinal surgeon.

Mr Slater is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who previously practised at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and in the private sector. After a distinguished career in spinal surgery, he has fully stopped performing surgical procedures. He now offers expert consultations in spinal outpatient clinics, including Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Slater maintains a busy medico-legal practice, providing expert reports primarily related to spinal conditions, as well as general musculoskeletal trauma. He remains actively involved in research and education, collaborating with junior colleagues to produce presentations and contribute to the advancement of the field.
