Mr Edward Dawe is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively in foot and ankle surgery. Based in West Sussex, he provides expert assessment and treatment for the full range of foot and ankle conditions, helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility and return to their normal activities as quickly as possible.

With nearly two decades of experience, Mr Dawe treats both routine and complex foot and ankle problems. His areas of expertise include:

Mr Dawe graduated from the University of London, earning a BSc (Hons) before completing his medical degree (MBBS). He subsequently completed higher orthopaedic training in London and undertook advanced fellowships in foot and ankle surgery as well as in complex trauma and limb reconstruction. His training included fellowships at St George’s Hospital, London, and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, as well as the prestigious BOFAS Visiting Fellowship in Munich, where he worked alongside leading international foot and ankle specialists.

Recognised for his expertise in modern foot and ankle surgery, Mr Dawe performs several hundred surgical procedures each year and conducts more than 1,000 patient consultations annually. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive techniques designed to minimise tissue disruption, reduce recovery times and improve patient outcomes.

Mr Dawe is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS) and the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA). He is known for his clear communication, evidence-based approach and dedication to helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment. Whether managing a sporting injury, arthritic condition, bunion deformity or complex reconstructive problem, he focuses on achieving practical, long-lasting results that improve quality of life.
