About
Dr Scotton is a Consultant Neurologist at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospital, with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions.
She sees patients with symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, blackouts, seizures, weakness, numbness and “funny turns,” and manages conditions including epilepsy, functional neurological disorder, movement disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuroinflammatory conditions and neuropathies.
Dr Scotton has undertaken additional specialist training at leading centres, including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. She has particular expertise in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
She runs dedicated clinics for Parkinson’s and movement disorders, alongside general neurology clinics and a botulinum toxin clinic, providing treatment for conditions such as dystonia, muscle spasms and migraine.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Scotton is actively involved in teaching at the University of Birmingham and contributes to research as a Principal Investigator within the NIHR Clinical Trials Unit. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and received national and international recognition for her work.
