Dr Phil Green

Dr Phil Green graduated with honours from Leicester University School of Medicine in 1996 and qualified as a General Practitioner in 2000. He spent 22 years as a GP Partner at The Jubilee Medical Practice in Syston, Leicestershire, where he developed a strong interest in minor surgery and became a respected GP educator. He later worked as a Salaried GP at The Uppingham Surgery and continues to practise clinically as a Private GP, having played a key role in establishing the local private GP service over a decade ago.

Dr Green has held several leadership roles, including Clinical Governance Lead, Medical Advisory Committee representative, and GP Advisor. He is also a long-standing GP mentor and currently serves as one of the Clinical Leads for the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Primary Care Training Hub.

Having undergone a mid-thigh amputation at age 17 due to osteosarcoma, Dr Green now serves as a GP Advisor for the Bone Cancer Research Trust. He supports the charity's work through patient education, medical literature, clinical trials strategy, and sits on the Independent Scientific Advisory Panel. He has also authored a BMJ Learning Module and contributed to An Orthopaedics Guide for Today’s GPs.

Dr Green sees self-paying patients of all ages (0+).

• Medical certification for scuba diving or aviation
  
• 24-hour health cover or emergency services
  
• Repeat prescriptions (except where treatment was initiated by Dr Clode-Baker or in exceptional circumstances)
  
• Ongoing monitoring of long-term conditions more appropriately managed by the NHS
  
• Treatment for reactions to prescribed medications (this constitutes an emergency)
  

• Routine provision of sick notes for conditions not being treated by Nuffield Health GP services
