About
Dr Jon Robson graduated from the University of Leeds in 2004. He completed his postgraduate training in West Yorkshire. He has been employed as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since 2014.
He is an Honorary Senior lecturer at the University of Leeds and plays an active role in research.
His main area of interest is thoracic malignancy, including lung cancer and mesothelioma. He also has developed sub-specialty interests in pleural disease and interventional pulmonology.
In his NHS practice he also regularly sees patients with other respiratory conditions including, respiratory infections, asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung diseases, and sleep apnoea.
He has a keen interest in education and currently holds the position of Interim Deputy Foundation School Director at Yorkshire and Humber Foundation School.
