Dr Ian Beasley

Dr Beasley is a dedicated Sports Physician focused on helping patients return to activity as soon as they can safely do so. His experience includes having worked extensively in professional football at the Premier League level and with the England national team, attending World Cups and European Championships.

Dance medicine has also been a passion of his, having served as M.O. to the Royal Ballet in London for over 15 years and holding clinics at the Royal Opera House.  He also worked with England and GB hockey as CMO for 10 years, attending the Olympics, World Cups, and Commonwealth Games.

As a Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary College, he engaged in academic work and taught the next generation of Sports Physicians. He worked at the world-famous Aspeter Sports Medicine Hospital in Qatar for two years and at the London 2012 Olympics in GB headquarters. He always works closely with his Consultant and Physiotherapy Colleagues to ensure a 'joined up' approach to care.  Dr Beasley was voted The Times 'Athlete's Doctor of Choice' in 2010.
