Dr Gina Chana trained at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals’ School of Medicine (2001). She is qualified as a GP, GP Anaesthetist and holds a Diploma in Cardiology. She currently works both as a GP and as a Rural Emergency Generalist Doctor. Dr Chana has spent several years working in Australia in Acute Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia. After qualifying as a GP, she used her background to practice as a GP Anaesthetist and a GP with an interest in Rural/Remote Medicine.
Dr Chana has a strong interest in travel and used her occupation to work in varied locations including Aboriginal Health in Australia, working with Torres Strait Islanders and The Scottish Highlands. She continues to work adhoc as a Rural Emergency Physician.
Dr Chana has always enjoyed the breadth of medicine and the rewarding inter-personal relationships that General Practice has to offer. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, holistic and high quality care to patients.
