We differentiate our approach through personalised, connected services spanning the health and wellbeing continuum. By connecting our health and wellbeing services, we are pioneering a unique form of personalised healthcare. 94% of its hospitals have received a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ rating from independent regulators, In 2018, our Brentwood Hospital was the first acute non-specialist hospital in England to receive an ‘Outstanding’ rating for safety from the CQC for its “robust implementation and embedding of safety systems and processes.”
We have maintained our focus on continuous quality improvement and embedding a culture of transparency and learning across the charity. At the end of 2017, we reorganised and implemented a new Quality and Assurance team – a statement of how highly we value quality outcomes and ensuring a clearer, more robust line of governance to create the ‘voice of assurance’ at an executive level.
In accepting the award, our Chief Executive Officer, Steve Gray said: “It's great to be recognised three years in a row as leaders in healthcare excellence. This reflects our teams' consistent hard work, relentless focus on patient safety, quality and outcomes and their commitment to be the best for our patients.”
We were selected from a finalist group of five private hospital groups within the UK.
