Why choose Nuffield Health pathology services?

As the UK’s largest healthcare charity, Nuffield Health exists to build a healthier nation through our hospitals, fitness, and wellbeing clubs.

Nuffield Health Pathology Laboratories operate in a hub and spoke network comprising 14 Hub Laboratories with varying numbers of spoke sites serving 36 hospitals across England, Wales and Scotland. We operate under a single quality management system that ensures our processes are wherever possible standard and of equally high quality across all our sites.

The Central Laboratory at Warwick is our largest laboratory with an extensive repertoire of tests; other laboratories vary in size and scope.

A full management solution for all requests and reports is provided through our Laboratory Information System. Our customer-focused service enables us to tailor test profiles, pathology reports and service delivery to meet individual requirements, always supported with appropriate clinical advice. In addition, we offer a web-based paperless system of reporting pathology results for clinicians.

Accredited tests

All Nuffield Health Pathology laboratories are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). In compliance with ISO 15189:2022 Standards for Medical Laboratories No. 9338.
