Tom’s passion for fitness began in the pool, where he turned his Saturday morning hobby into a competitive swimming career competing across the country. He has over 10 years experience from his own training and coaching in the sport. His true passion now lies in using his knowledge to improve his clients overall quality of life through functional training methods.

How can I help you improve your health?

I believe that having a good workout routine not only helps you physically but spiritually and mentally. In my spare time I love studying the brain from a neurochemical approach, to understand why we do what we do. This allows me to build compound habits and realistic lifestyle changes that my clients can commit to for long-term success. My passion is callisthenics, by using body weight as resistance, you have no excuse for not working out. It takes practice, but once mastered the results are incredible and long-lasting.

My goal as a personal trainer is to have all my clients incorporate working out into their daily lives, as something fun that they look forward to and not as a chore. Your body is capable of a lot more than you realise.

How can I help you improve your health?

By having a background in several different sports, I find it easier to create sessions for my clients that are not only enjoyable, but also specific and results focused.

I am a believer that mind and body are one, and by having my holistic approach to training I am able to break down mental barriers and limiting beliefs. My clients tend to develop long lasting habits that benefit their health.

Being vegan since 2017 I have also gained great amounts of knowledge about healthy eating and dieting.

How can I help you improve your health?

I believe that health and fitness is unique to the individual and therefore work with my clients to design an exercise program and help them to learn healthy habits tailored specifically to their goal and lifestyle. I have worked with clients in many aspects of health and fitness from general health goals with complete beginners to the gym, to working with professional athletes coming back from injury. I am a qualified kickboxing instructor, have a BSc Sports Therapy, an MSc Sports Performance and level 1 Precise Nutrition.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have a unique and innovative approach to coaching, incorporating all aspects of the body and mind to help all my clients achieve the best and often far more than they ever expect. This approach combines NLP techniques (Neuro Linguistic Programming) to ensure the mindset, and way of thinking, is conducive to getting the desired results with the neurokinetic therapy aches and pains approach, which focuses on how the whole body operates rather than just focusing on a specific ache/pain. I practice Precision Nutrition, using this to help my clients make changes to their diet and improve their body composition, health and lifestyle.

How can I help you improve your health?

I am extremely knowledgeable in anatomy and biomechanics after completing a resistance training specialist course, meaning I can now select the right exercises based off of an individual’s structure and range at their joints, instead of a generic one size fits all approach. I am a Level Two Neurokinetic Therapist which allows me fix pain and movement dysfunction through manual muscle testing. I am also a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming, ensuring I can help my clients overcome any barriers to exercise and nutrition.

I am passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals by enjoying sports and fitness.

I have over 10 years' experience in coaching sports and fitness and am also qualified in boxing pad work training as well as kettlebell training. As well as this, I am currently in the process of completing a nutrition for sport and fitness diploma and a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy Diploma.

I'm a level 3 Personal Trainer and a level 2 British Gymnastics Coach, and am also the COVID-19 Rehabilitation Specialist for our site.
