How can I help you improve your health?

I strive to provide my clients with the tools to improve their own health and fitness with a special focus on mobility and recovery. Having worked at a desk for years and having recently recovered from back surgery with the help of Nuffield Health’s Recovery Plus programme, I understand all too well how difficult it can be to keep on top of our fitness as well as how important it is to listen to and interpret what our bodies are telling us. So whether you are rehabilitating an injury, have a performance goal in mind, or are simply looking to improve your everyday life, it is my passion to share what I have learned and to work with you on tailoring a programme and training sessions that will help you feel your absolute best.

How can I help you improve your health?

Health, fitness and mental wellbeing is my passion and a huge part of my life. I thrive on helping and educating others on the benefits of balanced nutrition and an active lifestyle. I have recently completed a two year course in HND Fitness, health and exercise and aim to educate as many of my own clients as possible with my knowledge.

My overall goal is to encourage clients to train safely and effectively to maintain good general health and mental wellbeing. As part of a society which is beginning to highlight the importance of mental health I believe the benefits of regular training and good nutrition can positively affect an individual’s emotions, confidence and general outlook on life whilst improving our bodies physically and aesthetically by reducing body fat and building lean muscle.

If you are willing to invest the time and effort into your own goals, health and mental wellbeing, regardless of time, work or family barriers to make you into a happier, positive healthier version of you, I want to help you get there.

How can I help you improve your health?

I pride myself on teaching my clients the correct techniques and ways to exercise while providing you with a training plan so you know exactly what do to and when to do it. I strongly believe that everyone should be lifting some sort of weight to keep your bones dense helping prevent broken bones later in life while building some lean muscle mass at the same time. Resistance training is for everyone; from assisting things like picking up your children to taking something off the top shelf at home - all of these things are assisted by having more strength and muscle mass while preventing injury. I look forward to meeting you and sharing my love for resistance training!

With more than three years of experience within Nuffield Health, I have gained an abundance of knowledge and experience as a Personal Trainer. My passion is to share this skillset with my clients, supporting them each step of the way to reach and exceed their goals. Throughout your fitness journey, I will be there to motivate, understand and test you whilst showing you training can be fun!

No matter how big or small your goal, I have helped my clients to prepare for marathons, competitions, weddings, holidays and even for the small victories - your first push up, box jump or the confidence to go in the gym for the first time yourself.

My qualification in Sports Therapy has given me opportunity to show members that training is 100% possible post op or injury. There is nothing that together, we wouldn’t be able to work around, through personalised exercised plans and rehabilitation tailored to you.

Everyone is different, and this is something that I take into account with all of my clients, what may work for one person may well not work for you – my expertise will be able to highlight this quickly in order to make your target not seem like a million miles away. 

I will also just be at the end of the phone to give you unlimited support and motivation throughout our journey.  

For some, the gym can be a daunting experience, with me, even though it will be a challenge, we will still have fun while reaching your goals.

How can I help you improve your health?

Coming from a sporting background and being a personal trainer for the best part of 7 years now I have gathered my fair share of knowledge to help all types of clients, from athletes to beginners.

I know from experience that being healthy and strong has great benefits not only physically but also on your mental wellbeing: if you could bottle up the benefits of being healthy and strong in pill form there wouldn’t be a person who wouldn’t take it. I’m a big believer that everyone should be doing exercise tied in with some sort of strength training, not only because everything becomes easier when you get stronger but the injury prevention and health benefits that come with it.

It is easy to be motivated but that eventually fades, my job is to make you driven and push you to new limits while keeping things fun so you can reap the rewards from a new healthier and stronger you.

As a sport science graduate from the University of Stirling, my wealth of knowledge regarding human anatomy, physiology and nutrition alongside a deep passion for health and fitness will allow me and my clients to overcome a vast array of health and fitness goals – whether you are looking to build muscle mass, reduce body fat or have sport specific goals, I have the solution for you. The use of a wide variety of training techniques with particular emphasis on resistance training means that results are guaranteed!
