About

Professor Mohid Khan is a senior consultant gastroenterologist and endoscopist at the University Hospital of Wales with an international reputation for excellence in digestive health.

He trained at several of London’s leading teaching hospitals and now leads the South Wales Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) Service, accredited as a European Centre of Excellence.

He provides expert assessment and treatment for a wide range of gastrointestinal concerns, including abdominal pain, bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, weight loss, anaemia, IBS, and abnormal blood tests or scans. He has particular expertise in early cancer detection, complex symptom diagnosis, and managing long-term gut health.

Patients value his patient-centred approach: he listens carefully, explains clearly, and works closely with dietitians and specialist teams to deliver joined-up, personalised care. Many seek him for second opinions or when symptoms remain unresolved despite previous investigations. Whether you are concerned about your gut health, have unclear test results, or want expert-led care, Professor Khan brings clarity, reassurance, and evidence-based insight.

Alongside his clinical work, he is active in research, digital health innovation, and medical education, ensuring patients benefit from the latest thinking and technologies in modern medicine.
