About
Ms Wykes qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1993 and did her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London and the West Midlands. During this time, she completed an MA in Medical Ethics and Law.
She was appointed Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2003. She is currently the lead for the Early Pregnancy Unit and also has a special interest in colposcopy and adolescent gynaecology. She performs a regular inpatient and day surgery list and regularly carries out laparoscopic surgery.
Ms Wykes has a well-established reputation for training and education, and is responsible for the delivery of the medical student curriculum in her Trust and is the training programme director for second-year foundation doctors.
