About
Mr Taofiq Desmond Sanusi is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of back pain, neck pain, spinal disorders, and complex neurosurgical conditions. His expertise includes minimally invasive spine surgery, robotic-assisted spinal surgery, endoscopic spine procedures, adult spinal deformity (scoliosis), spinal tumours, craniocervical disorders, Chiari malformation, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) disorders.
Mr Sanusi completed advanced fellowship training in both spinal neurosurgery and orthopaedic spine surgery, including specialist fellowships in the UK and South Korea. He is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
A highly accomplished clinician and academic, Mr Sanusi holds multiple master's degrees and a PhD, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and the European Board of Neurosurgery (FEBNS). He has received several national and international awards recognising his expertise in advanced spine surgery and innovation.
