About
Mr Choksy is an established vascular surgeon performing a wide variety of emergency and elective operations.
He has extensive experience in assessment and the treatment of varicose veins and in his practice he treats most veins by modern minimally invasive methods such as radiofrequency, laser and foam sclerotherapy which avoids scarring, pain and bruising.
Mr Choksy deals with problems in patients with circulation problems and aneurysms and has considerable experience in aneurysm surgery both in open and endovascular aneurysm repair. He is the director of the Five Rivers Aneurysm Screening Programme to pick up aneurysms in the community.
In general surgery Mr Choksy has extensive experience in the repair of hernias.

Research
Mr Choksy has been the principle investigator of several recent randomised control trials such as BASIL 2, AARDVARK and the Aneurysm growth study. During his MD degree he performed his own original research which was a molecular based project investigating the biology of critical limb ischaemia.
