After graduating with his medical degree from the University of Dundee, Mr Harrison began his surgical career with specialist orthopaedic training in Yorkshire, developing a strong foundation in trauma and musculoskeletal care.

He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 2017 before undertaking two years of advanced hand and wrist fellowships, including:
