Mr Miranda specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of all conditions affecting the hand, wrist and peripheral nerves. This includes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Dupuytren's, nerve compression disorders, tendon problems, hand and wrist pain, arthritis, joint degeneration, injuries, and sports‑related upper limb conditions. Subspecialising exclusively in Hand and Upper Limb surgery since 2003, Mr Miranda completed Orthopaedic training in the West Midlands before undertaking advanced fellowship training at the distinguished Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby. He then broadened his expertise with two further fellowships in Sydney, Australia — one focusing on microsurgery and nerve surgery at North Shore Hospital, and another in shoulder and elbow surgery at the North Sydney Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre.
