About
Mr Ranjit Sehjal is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery.
With a focus on nerve conditions, arthritis, and traumatic injuries, he utilises the latest techniques to achieve exceptional results and facilitate a swift return to normal activities.
Some of Mr Sehjal's notable approaches includes rapid recovery Dupuytren’s contracture needle correction, allowing patients to resume their daily activities quickly. He also offers minimally invasive trigger release using ultrasound guidance not requiring any stitches. For fractures requiring fixation, he employs techniques that enable immediate movement of the hand or wrist post-procedure, enhancing recovery outcomes.
Central to Mr Sehjal's practice is a patient-centred approach, where individual needs are prioritised in the development of treatment plans. Collaborating closely with skilled hand therapists, he ensures optimised recovery and outcomes for his patients.
Having earned his medical degree from
the University of Leeds, Mr Sehjal underwent extensive training in Trauma and
Orthopaedics in the South East of England. He further developed his expertise
through fellowships in Southampton and the Sydney Hand Unit, Australia, where
he gained valuable experience in complex reconstructions and sports injury
management.
