About
Mr Mansoor graduated from the prestigious University of Punjab (Pakistan) in 1997. He then moved to the UK where he completed his postgraduate specialty and sub specialty training in Ophthalmology at the Northern Deanery.
His current post as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough and The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton sees him running busy clinics across both sites. He is also Clinical Supervisor of Ophthalmic Specialty Trainees.
Mr Mansoor has extensive experience in cataract surgery. His other specialties include general ophthalmology, diabetic eye disease and age related macular degeneration. He can see patients at James Cook and The Friarage for squint management, neuro ophthalmology, glaucoma and paediatric (children) eye disease.
