About
Mr Moreau is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in hand and upper limb surgery, including: carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon dysfunction, wrist, elbow (i.e. tennis elbow) and hand injuries.
He was educated at Eton College, Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Medical School. Mr Moreau completed his Basic Surgical Training in London before moving up to Shropshire. His higher surgical training was completed with six years on the Oswestry/Stoke rotation with posts held in Worcester, Shrewsbury, Gobowen and the North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary.
His fellowship training in all aspects of Hand, Wrist and Elbow surgery was performed at the Pulvertaft Unit of the Derby Royal Infirmary 2002-2003.
His substantive appointment as a Consultant Surgeon in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Gebowen and The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust was in November 2003.
He is currently Clinical Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust.
