About
Mr Rahmanou qualified from University of Liverpool. He was awarded his MD at University of London, for his research in the field of urogynaecology. He undertook higher surgical training in Oxford, John Radcliff hospital developing expertise in keyhole (minimal access) surgery for gynaecological conditions.
Mr Rahmanou is a specialist in Urogynaecology, treating patients with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent UTIs and painful bladder syndrome. He also treats all types of benign general gynaecological problems such as menstrual problems (Heavy periods), uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain/painful intercourse, postpartum problems.
As per national guidelines recommendation he treats all women with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in a local multidisciplinary team in both his NHS as well as his private practice. His prolapse and continence surgeries are registered on BSUG (British Society of Urogynaecology) database with patient consent and monitored postoperatively as recommended by NICE.

During his training Mr Rahmanou completed a Doctorate of Medicine at the University of London in the field of urogynaecology. During this research he gained valuable experience in investigations used for the assessment of women with pelvic floor dysfunction and management of pelvic floor disorder.
