Mr Peter Kempshall is a leading knee surgeon based in Gloucestershire, with over 12 years’ consultant experience dedicated solely to knee care. 

His practice covers the full spectrum of knee problems – sports injuries, ligament tears, meniscal damage including transplant, cartilage issues, alignment deformities, early and late arthritis.

He is one of the few surgeons locally offering customised total knee replacement using the Conformis iTotal system.

This bespoke implant is designed from detailed scans of your knee so that the prosthesis matches your knee structure – helping to improve comfort, function, and recovery. Mr Kempshall offers the Conformis iTotal bespoke/customised total knee replacement because it means that the implant is tailored to the patient’s specific anatomy rather than using a standard “off-the-shelf” prosthesis.  

He believes that personalised implants can drive better outcomes, in terms of improved fit, quicker recovery, enhanced comfort, and potentially a more natural feeling for the patient.
