Personal interests

Outside of his clinical practice, Mr Peter Kempshall is a devoted family man, married with two young children. His wife is a Haematology Consultant based in Cardiff, giving the family a shared appreciation for healthcare and patient care. He enjoys staying active through golf and regular gym training, reflecting his passion for mobility, fitness, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Away from medicine and sport, he has also turned his hand to winemaking, with what he describes as varying degrees of success. His active lifestyle gives him a personal understanding of the importance of movement and recovery, helping him relate to patients who want to return to the sports, hobbies, and everyday activities they enjoy most.
