Mr Paul Erotocritou

Mr Paul Erotocritou is a highly experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon at Whittington Health NHS Trust, where he has held a substantive post since March 2015, following a period as a locum consultant from October 2014.

Mr Erotocritou provides comprehensive care across all areas of adult general urology, with a specialist focus on the diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones and stone disease.

Education

He qualified in medicine in 2004 from the prestigious Royal Free and University College Medical School, and completed his specialist urology training across North London.

During his final year as a senior registrar in urology, Mr Erotocritou trained at University College London Hospital (UCLH) in the renowned Stone and Endourology Unit. This is a tertiary referral centre specialising in the treatment of kidney stones (renal calculi) and complex upper urinary tract conditions using advanced minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques, known as endourology.

While at UCLH, he completed a Master’s Degree in Urology, achieving a distinction for his research, and was awarded the Markowitz Prize for being the most outstanding senior registrar at the Institute of Urology. He remains actively involved as an invited member of the Stone Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at UCLH, contributing to complex case discussions.
