About
Mr Parag Garg is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in adult foot and ankle surgery. He completed advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, and at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre.
His practice covers the full range of foot and ankle problems, including bunions and forefoot deformity, arthritis, tendon and ligament disorders, sports injuries, diabetic foot disease, and complex trauma and reconstruction. Where appropriate, he uses minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Mr Garg also has a special interest in Diabetic foot surgery.
He is known to use the latest technology and robust evidence to treat his patients and help them recover to the fullest in the quickest possible time. Mr Parag Garg is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialist interest in foot and ankle surgery. His training and consultant-level experience encompass foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma surgery, and elective orthopaedic procedures, enabling him to manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Mr Garg has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed research across foot and ankle surgery, trauma, limb reconstruction and diabetic foot care.
His publications include studies of postoperative footwear after hallux valgus surgery, first metatarsophalangeal joint fusion with immediate weight bearing, ankle fusion using the Taylor Spatial Frame, and the role of orthopaedic surgeons in diabetic foot services in England.
His current academic interests include using data science and artificial intelligence to improve orthopaedic pathways. He is pursuing postgraduate qualifications in artificial intelligence at Cambridge University.
