About
Mr Panagiotis Drymousis is a Consultant General and Upper Gastrointestinal (Upper GI) Surgeon practising at Highgate Hospital in London. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of digestive and abdominal conditions, including indigestion (dyspepsia), acid reflux, gallstones, gallbladder disease, bile duct disorders, and hernias. His expertise also extends to hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery, focusing on diseases affecting the liver, pancreas and biliary system.
Mr Drymousis completed his surgical training in Athens, Greece, before undertaking a specialist HPB Surgery Fellowship at Hammersmith Hospital, London. He was subsequently awarded a prestigious Marie Curie European Scholarship, enabling advanced clinical training and research in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. He also completed a PhD focused on complex upper gastrointestinal surgery and the management of surgical complications, further strengthening his expertise in treating complex abdominal and digestive conditions.
In 2017, Mr Drymousis was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital. He relocated to London in 2019 and has since continued to practise as a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon, providing expert, patient-centred care for both common and complex gastrointestinal conditions.
