About
Mr Oliver Pearce is a full-time NHS consultant in Foot and Ankle surgery at Bristol NHS Trust, where his daily practice includes the treatment of a broad range of foot and ankle conditions.
He offers surgery with a specific interest in minimally invasive (keyhole) and contemporary techniques to treat all foot and ankle-related issues, including sports injuries, degenerative conditions, flat feet and Cavus deformity, arthritis (arthroscopic fusion and cartilage regeneration), Achilles/tendon disorders, and bunions. He is also the diabetic foot surgery lead for the BRI.
Mr Pearce was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Orthopaedics in 2024 following higher surgical training in Bristol, where he received multiple awards including ‘Trainee of The Year’ and ‘Highly Commended Trainee’ as part of his extensive Bristol training.
He has completed a 12-month prestigious international Fellowship in complex Trauma in Vancouver, Canada, followed by advanced training in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Cardiff. His fellowships provided national and international experience in complex reconstructive surgery and the treatment of professional sports-related injuries.
Mr Pearce works closely with non-surgical colleagues
(physiotherapists, podiatrists, orthotists and rheumatologists) to ensure that
patients can benefit from non-operative treatment prior to considering surgery,
while supporting patients with complex medical needs.
