About
I qualified from Nottingham University in 1985 and completed my higher surgical training at St Thomas’s and at Guy’s Hospitals in London.
My full-time NHS role was at Dorset County Hospital from 1999, but I've recently retired and now I only offer private practice.
I specialise in venous investigation and treatment, particularly minimally invasive techniques such as laser and endoluminal bio-adhesive treatments. All my vein clients have procedures performed as ambulatory cases under local anaesthesia.
I have a particular interest in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, venous ulceration and complex varicose veins, such as multiple-time recurrences and I'm very happy to consult and investigate clients with arterial issues as well.
Please note when booking for an initial appointment, there is an additional charge should a diagnostic vascular ultrasound scan be required and performed during consultation.
