About
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle conditions. I was appointed as a Consultant in 2016 and provide care at Royal Derby Hospital. I also see private patients at Nuffield Health Derby Hospital.
My aim is to reduce your pain, improve your movement and help you return to your normal activities.
I studied medicine at the University of Nottingham. I graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in 2003 and my medical degree in 2005.
I completed my orthopaedic training across the East Midlands. I gained my Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008 and my Fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2014.
During my training, I worked at several major hospitals. These included Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, Nottingham City Hospital, Chesterfield Royal Hospital, King’s Mill Hospital and Derby hospitals.
To develop my specialist skills, I completed a foot and ankle fellowship in Sheffield. I was also awarded a visiting fellowship to train in the USA with an internationally recognised specialist.
