About
Mr Neil Jain is a highly esteemed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Nuffield Health’s Manchester Institute of Health and Performance (MIHP), specialising in the advanced management of sports injuries and trauma. With a focus on soft tissue injuries of the knee, shoulder, and elbow, Mr Jain is an expert in minimally invasive keyhole surgery (arthroscopy) and complex tendon repairs. His clinical approach is shaped by an elite-level background, having worked with world-class organisations including the England National Football Team, the INEOS Grenadiers cycling team, and the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) as well as many other Olympic athletes. This high-performance expertise allows him to offer all patients from professional athletes to recreational exercisers the same cutting-edge recovery pathways and injury prevention strategies used at the pinnacle of global sport.
Beyond surgery, Mr Jain is a pioneer in joint preservation, utilising innovative non-operative treatments such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections to help patients reduce pain and delay the need for joint replacement. As the Vice President of the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma & Arthroscopy Association (BOSTAA), he remains at the forefront of orthopaedic research and innovation. Whether you are recovering from an ACL tear, a rotator cuff injury, or seeking a "return to play" strategy, Mr Jain provides tailored, evidence-led care designed to restore movement and get you back to the activities you love as quickly and safely as possible.
