About
Mr Navdeep Upile is a highly trained Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon happy with all aspects of ENT.
He studied medicine at Newcastle University, receiving the Stephen Scott Scholarship and a BMedSci (Hons) via a competitive Wolfson Bursary.
After medical school, he obtained his MRCS and a Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS). Driven by research, he was awarded grants from the Royal College of Surgeons England and Cancer Research UK. He also completed a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) academic clinical fellowship during his surgical training in the Mersey deanery, earning his FRCS (ORL-HN) in 2017.
Having achieved his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), Mr Upile pursued advanced international subspecialist training. He successfully secured funding through the Colledge Family Memorial and Peel Rothwell Jackson Travel Fellowships to complete a prestigious clinical fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Australia.
Mr Upile maintains a strong focus on research and training, actively recruiting for clinical trials and serving as a mentor for junior surgeons. This dedication ensures he stays abreast of the latest medical advances, allowing him to offer his patients the highest standard of specialized care.
