Mr Muhammad Imran Chaudary

Mr Muhammad Imran Chaudary is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon seeing patients at Nuffield Health Brighton and Haywards Heath hospitals. He specialises in hip and knee replacement, with a particular focus on robotic and computer-navigated surgery and is fully accredited in MAKO robotic-arm assisted joint replacement.

He completed his surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in the West Midlands, before undertaking advanced fellowship training in complex lower limb and revision arthroplasty at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham one of the UK's leading specialist orthopaedic centres. He has extensive experience in both primary and revision joint replacement, alongside a background in trauma surgery.

Mr Chaudary is actively involved in clinical research, with peer-reviewed publications and contributions to national multicentre research trials, including work presented at the British Trauma Society and EFORT Congress. In his NHS role, he works at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
