About
Mr Mohammed Hussain is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust specialising in complex nasal and sinus conditions, rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction. He has undertaken advanced subspecialist training through the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons and holds the European Diploma in Anterior Skull Base Surgery (University of Paris).
His practice includes nasal obstruction, chronic rhinosinusitis, septal perforation, post-traumatic and congenital nasal deformity, and problems following previous nasal surgery. His work combines functional nasal surgery with careful consideration of both nasal function and aesthetic form.
Mr Hussain also performs advanced endoscopic and image-guided sinus surgery, including complex revision and anterior skull base procedures. Through humanitarian surgical missions abroad, he has performed more than 70 major nasal reconstruction and advanced sinus procedures for war-injured patients.
Education
Mr Hussain graduated in Medicine from King’s College London, where he also completed a BSc in Philosophy with First Class Honours. He later completed an MSc in Surgical Skills & Sciences at Queen Mary University of London and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education at the University of Leeds, awarded with Distinction.
Alongside his higher surgical training in ENT and attainment of FRCS (ORL-HNS), he undertook advanced training in rhinology, facial plastic surgery and anterior skull base surgery.
