Mr Henley – Consultant Urological Surgeon
Mr Henley trained in London before moving to the East Midlands to complete his specialist training in urology.
He has been involved in research throughout his career, including work on assessing clinical skills, supervising PhD research in prostate cancer, and developing clinical decision‑support systems.
Mr Henley believes clear communication is essential to good care. He focuses on helping patients understand their condition, what it means for them, and the best treatment options available. Patients value his clear, calm and supportive approach.
He has a specialist interest in male fertility problems. He is experienced in advanced microsurgery, including:
- Vasectomy reversal
- Micro‑TESE (a procedure used to help couples with fertility problems)
- Treatment of varicoceles
- Management of pain following vasectomy
In addition, Mr Henley treats a wide range of general urological conditions, including:
- Kidney stones and urinary problems
