Mr Michael Esson

Mr Esson is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon practicing at Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Esson trained in the South West before being appointed as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital in April 2008. His surgical experience includes the treatment of head and neck cancer, facial deformity, facial injuries and fractures, salivary gland disease, surgical removal of teeth and oral medicine conditions. Mr Esson also does medico-legal reporting.

He has a special interest in dental implantology including surgical placement of implants and jaw bone grafting procedures such as sinus lifting and onlay grafts which are sometimes required prior to implant placement.
