Mr Luke Campton is a leading Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, and Glasgow Nuffield Hospital.
With over two decades of specialist experience, he is recognised across Scotland for his expertise in young adult hip conditions, hip preservation surgery, hip arthroscopy, complex hip replacement, and pelvic and major trauma surgery.

Patients from across Scotland are referred to Mr Campton for assessment and treatment of:
- Hip pain in young adults
- Labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)
- Early arthritis of the hip
- Complex or revision hip replacement
- Pelvic fractures and major trauma injuries.

Education
Mr Campton graduated from the University of Glasgow (1997) and completed his basic surgical training in Glasgow and Edinburgh, followed by specialist orthopaedic training in the West of Scotland.He undertook a prestigious year‑long fellowship in lower limb reconstruction and major trauma in Melbourne, Australia, where he also served as a clinical lecturer at the University of Melbourne.
He was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon in 2009, initially at the Western Infirmary before moving to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in 2015.
