About

Mr Ioannis Biliatis is a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at University Hospitals Dorset and also offers private consultations and treatment. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of gynaecological cancers, with particular expertise in complex pelvic surgery, minimally invasive techniques and robotic surgery.

Mr Biliatis completed his speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before sub-specialising in gynaecological oncology at the Royal Marsden and Barts Hospitals in London.

He manages the full spectrum of gynaecological conditions including ovarian, cervical, endometrial and vulval cancers. He also has extensive experience in colposcopy for the assessment and treatment of abnormal cervical smears and in the diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy for managing uterine problems such as bleeding, polyps and fibroids.

He works within a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives an individualised treatment plan using the latest evidence and advanced skills to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Mr Biliatis is known for his compassionate, patient centred approach. He takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, ensuring patients and their families feel supported and informed throughout their care.
