About

Mr MacLeod studied medicine at St Mary’s Hospital, London, qualifying in 2000. He completed his basic surgical training, followed by specialist orthopaedic training in London and the South West Thames region.

In 2009, Mr MacLeod undertook a year-long specialist fellowship at the renowned Upper Limb Unit in Brisbane, gaining advanced expertise in shoulder and upper limb surgery. This was followed by a further six-month fellowship at the nationally recognised Wrightington Upper Limb Unit. He was also awarded the Watanabe Travelling Fellowship, allowing him to train with leading UK shoulder surgeons and gain experience in the most advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) surgical techniques.

Mr MacLeod was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in 2011. He has published extensively on upper limb surgery, with research presented at both national and international conferences.

He specialises in all aspects of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery, employing both arthroscopic and open surgical techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
