Mr Geutjens brings more than 20 years of specialist experience encompassing all aspects of knee surgery.
He serves as Consulting Surgeon to Derby County Football Club, Derby Rugby Club, Burton Albion Football Club and the Derby Trailblazers Basketball Club.
Mr Geutjens has extensive expertise in managing sports‑related knee and ankle injuries, with a personal operative portfolio exceeding 5,000 arthroscopies and more than 2,000 cruciate ligament reconstructions.
He also has significant experience in knee replacement surgery and osteotomies around the knee.
His specialist interests include cartilage resurfacing procedures, meniscal cartilage repair, and the management of arthritis in younger patients.

His research primarily focuses on knee arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, knee replacement surgery, and the soft‑tissue repair of complex muscle injuries.
Mr Geutjens lectures on national training courses dedicated to complex knee ligament reconstruction, providing specialist instruction to fellow knee surgeons, and has also been invited to lecture internationally.
