Dr. Stokin is an internationally recognized neurologist and neuroscientist specializing in the diagnosis and management of Alzheimer’s disease and complex neurodegenerative disorders. With a dual background in elite clinical practice and groundbreaking molecular research, he offers a uniquely precise approach to cognitive health. Dr. Stokin earned his MD from the University of Trieste and a PhD from the University of California, San Diego, where he pioneered research into axonal transport and amyloid precursor protein biology. His clinical expertise was honed through subspecialty training at world-leading institutions, including the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. A Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Stokin has held prestigious leadership roles, including Chair of the International Clinical Research Centre and lead advisor for National Dementia Strategies. Currently serving as a Consultant Neurologist at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, his work bridges the gap between laboratory innovation and patient care. Dr. Stokin is dedicated to providing private patients with access to the latest translational science, focusing on early diagnosis, precision therapies, and comprehensive care strategies to improve long-term outcomes for those living with cognitive impairment.
