Mr Dell'Aversana is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, specialising in vitreoretina and cataract surgery.
He performs a large number of procedures every year and he is involved in training perspective general and vitreoretinal consultants.
Mr Dell'Aversana qualified in medicine and surgery in Italy and undertook further subspecialty training in the UK.
He has completed 3 different fellowships in cataract surgery, medical retinal and surgical management of retinal diseases in the UK. Among these a 2-year long fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital under Mr R. Wong, Mr A. Laidlaw and Professor T. Williamson.
