About
Mr Folaranmi is a Consultant Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), Cardiff. He is the Clinical Lead of the Paediatric surgery Department.
He specialises in general surgery of childhood, gastrointestinal conditions and minimally invasive surgery.
He qualified from Imperial College London Medical School in 2005 with honours and undertook specialist paediatric surgical training in the Northwest of England. He completed an additional 18-month fellowship in upper gastrointestinal surgery and laparoscopic surgery.
He is an Honorary Lecturer at Cardiff
University, an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and has published
numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.
