Mr Dean Michael



Mr Michael qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital (St Bart's) in 1994. After basic surgical training, he undertook orthopaedic training on the UCH/Middlesex training rotation and also undertook specialist training in hip and knee surgery at The Middlesex Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

In 2005, he completed specialist hip and knee surgery fellowships in Sydney working at the Orthosports Unit, The New South Wales Institute of Sports Medicine and at the New South Wales Orthopaedic Research Institute. He has been a consultant at The Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Unit at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey since 2006.

Hip surgery - revision, hip resurfacing and minimally invasive hip replacement, hip arthroscopy and impingement surgery.

Foot and ankle Surgery - including bunion surgery, sports and keyhole surgery of the ankle.

Personal interests

Mr Michael is married with two young children and, his interests are sport, especially rugby, football (a keen Arsenal fan), motorsport, food and wine (both cooking and eating).
