Mr Oliver was appointed as a Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 2005 with additional clinics in Torbay. His special interests are microsurgical breast reconstruction and skin cancer surgery. He is a member of the Peninsula Network Group for skin cancer. His is committed to teaching future surgeons and is chairman of the South-West Peninsula Specialist Training Committee for plastic surgery.
After undertaking training in plastic surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, he completed higher specialist training at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford. Mr Oliver passed the FRCS in plastic surgery in 2003 and was awarded the McGregor medal for distinction in the examination.
Mr Oliver trained in cosmetic surgery in Perth, Western Australia and then as the Aesthetic Surgical Fellow at the McIndoe Surgical Centre, East Grinstead.
Mr Oliver’s wide areas of expertise encompass all aspects of cosmetic surgery including; breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy (breast uplift), abdominoplasty (tummytuck), liposuction, face and neck lifting, eyelid surgery and cosmetic skin surgery.
