Mr Lin is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in lower limb arthroplasty, with expertise in hip and knee replacement surgery. He is particularly experienced in using advanced, technology-assisted surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes and recovery.
Originally from Singapore, Mr Lin moved to London in 2004 and graduated with honours from Imperial College London Medical School. He completed his foundation and core surgical training in North West Thames, followed by specialist orthopaedic training on the prestigious Percivall Pott’s rotation, based at the Royal London Hospital.
Advanced Fellowship Training
Mr Lin was selected for a highly competitive international fellowship in Sydney, Australia, at Royal North Shore Hospital, where he trained under Professor William Walter, a leading expert in arthroplasty. During this time, he gained advanced experience in:
- Ceramic resurfacing arthroplasty
- Anterior approach total hip arthroplasty (THA)
- Computer-navigated hip replacement surgery
- Robotic-assisted, kinematically aligned total knee replacement (TKR)
