About
Dan Wright is a spinal neurosurgeon committed to finding the best treatment for each patient either surgical or non-surgical. He treats a wide range of adult spinal conditions including back and neck pain, sciatica and complex degenerative conditions. He offers treatment tailored to each patient with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes through evidence-based care.
If intervention is required he uses a breadth of different strategies including injection therapies, endoscopic spine surgery, other keyhole techniques and fusion surgery if needed. He completed general neurosurgery training at the Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital followed by the prestigious spine fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square and orthopaedic spine fellowship at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. His NHS base is at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, a regional major trauma centre and regional referral hub, where he has a busy spinal practice both elective and emergency. He is published and has presented nationally and internationally on different aspects of spinal surgery and neurosurgery.
