About
Mr Dan Brown is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon in Cambridge.
He has a sub-specialist interest in degenerative spinal conditions and treats a wide range of spinal problems, including back pain, sciatica, myelopathy and radiculopathy, as well as more complex conditions affecting the spinal cord and nerves.
As a neurosurgeon, Mr Brown's training is focussed on the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Where surgery is needed, he uses a minimally invasive approach wherever appropriate, though most spinal conditions can be managed without surgery, and he always considers conservative treatment first.
He also treats neurovascular conditions, including brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and cavernomas, and Chiari malformation.
Mr Brown completed a Royal College of Surgeons of England neurovascular fellowship and holds an NHS consultant post alongside his private practice.
