About
My focus is on helping people reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Whether you are considering your first hip replacement or need a more complex revision operation, I aim to provide clear guidance and personalised care at every stage of your treatment.
I trained at the University of Oxford Medical School, qualifying in 2006, and went on to complete advanced academic and clinical training through an NIHR-integrated programme. During this time, I completed a DPhil (PhD) exploring how hip osteoarthritis develops in both the general population and elite athletes. This research continues to inform my approach to diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.
After completing my training, I worked as a Consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, a leading specialist centre. There, I developed expertise in minimally invasive hip surgery, robotic-assisted techniques, and custom-made implants designed to improve accuracy, recovery, and long-term outcomes.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, conducting research into perioperative care and joint infection, with the aim of improving patient outcomes.
